Chef Amy (Yep, that’s me!) loves food. No, I mean really loves food. Eating it, cooking it, talking about it, reading about it, looking at pictures of it....you get the idea! Family time is so important to me, as I know it must be for you, too! I am blissfully married (really!) and have three great kids (who are always hungry). I’m lucky to have “adventure people” in my house who love to try new foods- recipe testing is very popular over here! I am graduate of the United States Personal Chef Association undergrad program, and am certified under the Serve Safe safe food handling program. I would be thrilled to use my knowledge and experience to improve your quality of life- I’d like to take the stress out of meal time for you. What is a Personal Chef Service? A Personal Chef serves several clients, usually one per day, and provides multiple meals that are custom designed for the clients' particular tastes and needs. These meals are packaged and stored so that the client may enjoy them at their leisure in the future. How does a Personal Chef Service work? After meeting with you, I will carefully design a menu tailor-made to your specific dietary goals and preferences. On the scheduled cook day, I 'll shop for all the necessary ingredients. I will arrive at your house with my own equipment and utensils, prepare your meals, package and label them (complete with nutritional information and reheating instructions) and store them in your fridge and freezer for you to enjoy at your convenience. I'll leave you with a sparkling clean kitchen and the wonderful aromas of a home cooked meal! Who would need a Personal Chef? -Anyone who is trying to switch to a healthier lifestyle- either to lose weight, follow a Doctor's or Nutritionist's prescribed diet, or just wants to kick the fast-food habit. How much does a Personal Chef Service cost? My standard service of five entrees, four servings each, is $350. This would give a busy couple ten dinners just waiting to be enjoyed! I also offer different sized packages for families, and I offer a first time discount. If you would like all organic or specialty gourmet food, prices are adjusted accordingly.
