Bringing the valuable services of Gourmet By The Bay to your home is easy. Simply call me and I will arrange a time to visit with you at your home to determine your food preferences and to design customized menus for you and your family. This is the first part of the fun because we have a huge selection of entrees and side dishes for you to choose from. THEN... When I have a designed a menu to your satisfaction, I will shop and prepare meals in your kitchen to be placed in your refrigerator and/or freezer- with complete instructions for heating and serving. THEN.....you get to come home to a home filled with amazing foods, delightful aromas, and you get to sit back and relax.... Thank You for the opportunity to present my services to you! I am Shoshana Klein, a resident of the Bay Area for over 20 years. Why am I a Personal Chef? I have always been passionate about cooking and healthy eating, and I love to cook for others and make parties for friends and family. My cooking career began about 22 years ago when I started out doing event catering for weddings, corporate events, and small businesses and parties. I loved the fast pace and the excitement of each event. Then, while earning my Bachelors degree at UC Santa Cruz, I cooked for several different families as a means to help me create extra income while in school. It was a great experience and the beginning of a career that would mean more to me later on in my life. In 1992, I moved to Berkeley, CA. to attend graduate school at UC Berkeley. I continued to utilize my cooking skills catering both small and large events as well as some personal "cheffing" which is what I continue to do today. Being a chef in the Bay Area is a blessing with all the diversity of foods and cuisines we have at our fingertips. I love making people happy with healthy, good food, and also helping create parties for people who want to entertain guests in a unique and fun way. I look foward to working with you!! |
